Thanks for popping by. Some key facts you should probably know before diving in:

• I grew up in North Dakota and that was my favorite line to deliver in San Francisco. Now that I’ve moved back to the tundra (albeit Saint Paul, Minnesota) I need a new fun fact for the locals.
• I’m a former (reformed?) TV reporter
• The above photo was taken on my favorite lake in Minnesota, where my family cabin hosts us all every summer and the loon calls echo for miles.

My goal is to find the interesting characters and angles within typical news stories. I particularly enjoy writing science-related explainers, but any sort of deeper dive which lends context gets me going!

I also occasionally freelance for new (typically tech) companies on key messaging, story angles and blog posts, leaning on my years as a tech reporter to help inform guidance.
